Elizabeth Winfield, MD
Dr. Winfield chose to live in Summit County for its sunny skies and
recreational opportunities. She enjoys mountain biking with her husband,
and lots of time with her young son Ephraim.
In her practice, Dr Winfield promotes wellness and preventive
medicine, while treating acute and chronic illness. She and
Dr. Morano
provide low risk Obstetric care, as well as care for the whole family
from infancy to old age.
Family Medicine, with its emphasis on prevention and care of the
entire family is a specialty that serves Summit County well. These are
the same goals Dr. Winfield has.
Dr. Winfield previously worked
with the Champus Partnership Program at the Wurzburg, Germany U.S. Army
Hospital. She received her MD at Boston University of
Medicine; performed her internship at Cornell University Medical
Center in New York; and her residency at Swedish Family Medicine
Residency through the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Center–Fitzsimons. Dr. Winfield is Board Certified through the American
Board of Family Practice.
