Dr. Gutierrez is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.  He specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries as well treatment for infertility.

Born in Mexico, Dr. Gutierrez attended medical school at the Universidad La Salle Medical School in Mexico City.  He completed his residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital.

As an attending physician at Jackson Memorial, he was voted ‘outstanding teacher’ by the residents. Dr. Gutierrez maintained his own OB/GYN practice for nearly 15 years prior to his arrival at High Country Healthcare.

Dr. Gutierrez speaks Spanish, English and French.  He enjoys skiing and riding his mountain bike.  He is married to Dr. Jan Lowrey, an anesthesiologist, and has two sons, James and Jonathan.
