For nearly three decades, CHPG High Country Healthcare providers and staff have been vital members of the communities throughout Summit County. We support opportunities that promote health and wellness for our patients as well as our community at large.
Local Athletic Program Support
CHPG High Country Healthcare is a sponsor of the local school and district athletic programs. From funding Summit High School Athletics to sponsoring elementary school teams for Optimist Basketball and providing discounted sports physicals, CHPG High Country Healthcare is committed to encouraging healthy habits for youth in our community.
Prenatal care and education are provided in a relaxed group setting where eight to twelve women with similar due dates meet to share their experience. Centering Pregnancy is offered to all of our prenatal patients.
Family and Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC)
Partnering with (FIRC) has been a wonderful experience for our entire organization. FIRC is a nonprofit working with families and individuals in Summit County, Colorado, in the areas of emergency assistance and parenting, as well as providing opportunity for affordable health insurance for families and pregnant women. Visit FIRC for more information.
The Summit Foundation
We are proud to be long term supporters of such a significant organization in our community. The Summit Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and guests of Summit County and neighboring communities. For more information, visit The Summit Foundation.
Walk with a Doc
During the summer of 2011, Dr. Larry George and his wife Dr. Karen Wyatt launched “Walk With A Doc” with the support of all CHPG High Country Healthcare physicians. Each Saturday, one of our doctors led a walk and talked about a different health topic. Walkers of all shapes, sizes and ages joined in on the lively and informal discussion and relished in the opportunity to talk with a doctor one-on-one.
