We hear a lot about holiday weight gain that hits folks this time of year! In my experience, many of the patients I work with do struggle to keep unwanted pounds from creeping on. It seems that once the Halloween candy hits the store shelves, we need to brace ourselves as an endless cycle of new treats makes an appearance from October thru April each year.
Medicare Patients our New Weight Management Program begins January 10th
If you have Medicare, you may be eligible to participate in CHPG High Country Healthcare’s Weight Management Program as a covered benefit. Our first class begins on Tuesday, January 10th, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. To learn more about this program Join Us Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the Frisco, CHPG – High Country Healthcare Office . This is a great option for all Medicare members who are interested in losing weight while participating in a structured, supportive, group environment. The program is led by Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, Gretchen Broecker.
