Prep Your Pantry
From Ask the Registered Dietitian… ““Thanks for the article with the great tips about meal planning and prepping for the week ahead. Could you provide a list of items to stock in my pantry so I’m always prepared?”- Suzanne
Yes, having a well-stocked pantry is the key to success in feeling prepared for the week ahead. In my last article, I mentioned the importance of prepping for your grocery shopping trip by being armed with a list of essentials matching the layout of your store. For some, keeping an inventory-style list is easiest; simply know what you need to have on hand and the number, and when you use something, check it on your list. Some even keep this style of list right inside their pantry door.
This list is not all-inclusive but gives you a general idea of what to include to start your very own pantry/inventory. Hope this helps!
